Default First time rebuilding a motor, need some input.

Yeah so its my first time rebuilding a motor and I was wondering how long the break in period is? Its a d16y8, doing the vitara/golden eagle bottom end and supertech, valves, springs and retainers. I will have the head done at a machine shop since I cant do it and just do the block at home. I want to also know if my old tune, for 9psi, will safely take me to my tuner? I will be putting in 520cc injectors and just got my walbro 255 pump in. What do you guys think? Or should I flat bed it to the tuner?

Was your old tune with the same 520cc injectors?
If not, then your voltage signal to the injectors will be way off.
That alone would get me to tow it.

Well I have 370cc in it now. So if I use the 370's I should be able to drive it to get it tuned?

Tow it there, break it in on the dyno and beat the crap out of it
