Re: Finished up my new daily driver (VaporTrail)
Cool deal John! A friend of mine local just got an S14 same color and all, he had a 94 Supra TT Auto but sold it to buy a house and now picked this up and plans an RB26 swap. Neat car, I definately liked when Greaser had his motor in the S14 better too, juts a nice nice car and clean. Good luck on the build up and hurry up and get the Civic up too!

Yes, I am one of two owners of SS, my partner Taylor the other.
I think we are AWESOME but I might be a bit jaded
The final numbers were 255hp and 260tq on 1 bar boost

my friend got a 92 sc300 for 8k with about 100K miles on it...we've been calling around to see shops that deal with the swap and/or turbo upgrades...these sites have been pretty helpful

Re: (VaporTrail)
Well for the most part its usually the cheaper route since many 240s are high mileage cars anyways. (Not that they cant take it) It's just usually cheaper (and even easier a lot of the time) to swap in a sr20det. Where you goin from here with that setup?

Yeah considering my KA gave up the ghost after 5 days of ownership, it pretty much killed any enthusiasm I might have had for that motor.
The eventual goal is 350-400whp. For that, a SC50 will probably be the weapon of choice, along with a Tomei solid lifter conversion, 260 deg cams, 740cc injectors, head gasket, GReddy intake manifold, and a SSPL ROM tune

Re: (VaporTrail)
That car is so god damn nice, seriously. I have a 95 s14 as well and when funds allow I'll be doing the same thing. Lets see some engine shots! Out of curiosity, how did the wiring of the s13 engine go? Apparently it is a little more involved than the s13 chassis and info is hard to find online. Do you have a/c working as well?

I will post engine shots tomorrow - I just put in the Koyo radiator so it looks much nicer underhood The wiring is VERY in depth, you basically build a harness out of two. We have gotten a/c wired, but a cracked a/c line prevents it from working at this time. I've also devised a way to keep cruise control, but it wasn't working before the swap so I have to fix that too.

I want to get a second set of wheels so I don't **** these up, along with some brakes, which currently the car has next to none I'm not quite done with suspension stuffs, I need some bushing replaced as well - then I will take it to Sebring for some laps
