Default Finished tearing down my tranny...

It's an 88 Integra tranny. No LSD is available for it except that Phantom Slip.

Here's a link:

What do you guys think? I think the tranny will be the weakest link in my setup, but the 1st gen Teg stuff looks pretty stout. Like the later stuff, the tranny setup uses equal length axles and a halfshaft. The axles are 28mm thick.

How thick are GS-R, LS, and ITR axles?

Thanks,
Sonny

Hard to believe they dont make a LSD for 'em. The whole setup "looks" just like mine.

Nice work!

I don't really know much about honda trannys, but which ones have equal length axles? Won't that help to eliminate torque steer?

Props on the clean/cheap rebuild.

Off the top of my head, all B series trannies use equal length axles. In addition to that are the USDM D16A1 (86-89 Integra), all JDM ZC, and the European D16A8 and D16A9. The H series stuff does, too, I think. Not sure about the others.

I'm happy to be able to run a tranny with equal length axles. As you said, they do reduce torque steer. Additionally, most of the D series Civics use a short passenger axle and a loooong driver side axle. A lot of people break the driver's side axle.
