Finally some tuning done. Not sure if im happy or not. 322whp and 224 tq @11 psi
This is on my new LSvtec motor. Load was around 10.8 psi, so we'll just say 11.
Stock bore 81mm Darton sleeved (of course) 9.2ish compression. SC61 E, Full race manifold/IC, stock gsr head with ferrea valves/springs/retainers. Edelbrock intake manifold.
Im thinking I need to get my charge piping on there. Its currently 2.25 and Im going to 2.5 This is also with stock throttle body. Oh yeah also exhaust is 2.25" with 3" dp.
We did most of the tuning on the fuel map and its around 12.2:1 so its pretty conservative as to my liking. Timing map was only played with for one pull and it didnt make any more power up top so we left it at 23 total under boost.
RC 550's were at 78% duty cycle and the stock honda map sensor was at its limit.
Hopefully I will have plots up tonight sometime, I have a PM over to boostedhybrid asking him to convert the plots from winpep software to a readable image.
Oh yeah, this is on AEM EMS. I think before i go back next time I am going to toss my 95# injectors in, get a 3.5 bar Kavlico map sensor, change the IC piping to 2.5 and maybe get a 68/70mm throttle body and see how it does on some higher boost---if I can get a better boost controller that is, hopefully I can figure out how to use the GM solonoid before then.

I don't think the 2.25" charge piping is your problem, thats what I'm still running on mine. But the 2.25" exhaust is killing you.

Good numbers Dan. Sucks you didnt have the 3bar working. You were running the Ecutout open right? So your exhaust really wouldnt effect much. Turn up the boost. Also I give props to Adam, he did a good job getting your A/F ratios smooth with AEM.

Yeah i would upgrade the exhuast before touching the intercooler pipes. Nice #'s and setup nothing to be disapointed about, especially when theres definetely more room for improvement

I dont think the 2.25 charge pipe is hurting me, its just on the to do list. I have a 2.5" outlet at the intercooler, and also its the only eyesore that im not liking in the engine bay.
Nate, I only had the e-cutout open for the first run, I closed it after that to get base a/f's and tuning done. I didnt even bother opening it at all after that and I made a total of 11 passes, but a couple were cut short due to changes being made too radically.
I know theres a lot more in it at 11 psi, but for the next tuning session I will have some C16, the larger injectors, and a 3.5bar map sensor for sure. Hopefully some 3" catback too.

what is the process of tuning with the e-cutout? are you supposed to tune with it closed first then open?

Cause open dp and running through exhaust will definetly change the tune. I didnt have time to tune for both open/closed, and I drive around with it closed all the time so I tuned for it closed.
I thought torque was at 224, but Adam who was helping tune it says 233 was my max tq.
