Finally installed my crappy cybernation turbo kit
This cybernation kit was a real pain in the *** to install. Pieces missing that I had to overnight from somewhere (fast-turbo) else...since cybernation wouldn't ship them express (I even offered to pay).
Fitament issues with the filter...I can't put that over sized damn filter they gave me on the intake tube...as you will see in my pics, I have a ghetto temp filter at the momment.
The downpipe was a tad too short, so I had to pull the midpipe pipe closer so now it only has one bolt holding it to the muffler (I'll get that fixed later).
And the downpipe's flange holes were off, I had to drill into those.
That damn cobra fitting is a real bitch! Overall, I am not impressed what so ever in the cybernation kit. I wish I had the time to go custom, my last turbo kit was milestones above this.
The power delivery is great though. No lag that I notice. I'm running a 7psi spring in my tial wastegate. I was going to use a boost controller, but I don't see any need for it and will most likely sell it.
The boost does come on later than my last sc34 turbo..but it's actually a good thing for traction. spooling too quick in a fwd car sucks.
anyway, here's the pics
Close up of my ghetto filter till I reroute the intake to the empty space...which cybernation should have thought of...there's so much more room for the intake there

Didn't you blow up your motor a while back? And say you weren't going to turbo it again?

you're right, I took it out. It was just way too restrictive.
mrgsr..yeah, I'm crazy I guess. But I'm leaving this at 7psi...actually feels faster than my k20a3 did when I ran 10psi with that motor.
The car pulls damn good. I'm lovin it! It makes me forget the install problems.
Rodrick...might be selling my dual boost controller turboxs

Re: (1995Ex_Sedan)
I installed a Cybernation Stage 1 turbo kit on an RSX-S and had no out of the ordinary issues. It's not like bolting on an intake, kids. I'm not overly impressed with the Guardian hardware they provided, but at 11.5 psi, it hauls serious ***.
One way to deal with the cobra fitting is to take the transmission mount off in the back and reinstall it after the fitting is secure. The DP is about an inch too short on ours too, but we managed to get all three bolts in it. The filter was perfect for me...

yeah, I couldn't get it quite centered...really not that noticeable to me. The piping to the left was hitting the frame of the car and wouldn't go over anymore. When ever I get around to it, I'll cut pipe or something to fix it...not a big deal to me

when I had the stock k20a3 with 10psi, I ran a 13.3@113mph and a 2.4 60ft. I'm not sure what I'll do now. I have some drag radials to use this time. but I'm staying at 7psi and no more

hahhaa, import scene in San Angelo you'll know why I laugh now when you get here. It's pretty non existant. More domestic cars than anything. There are maybe 6 import cars here that I would even consider a good ride
