Finally finished and was boosting around last night...OMFG!
It's a completely different car and the tac climbs quick. If I'm not paying attention I could easily run into the rev limiter. Last afternoon I was running around open dp and good gracious was it loud. I had the 3" exhaust (magnaflow and 3" carsound cat) welded up last night and I was expecting a huge reduction in noise. Nope, it was still load. I'm not welcoming any long road trips in this car, but ahh it's so worth the speed. I hope to get on the dyno in the next week or two and let all y'all know how it turns out.
The setup:
b16 head, b18b bottom w/gsr girdle
mav rev mani, dp, and turbo-thanks for all your help Geoff
Endyn rods, pistons, valves-let's not get into it please
quaife
z10 radius rods, R rear sway bar-and I absolutely love it!
hondata 3b w/550s
j&s classic-man am I happy I got this. The peace of mine is so worth it. Especially since I'm untuned right now.
48 row oil cooler-the temp never jumped past 210
I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff. Anywho, things I'd do different:
May be a hp coating for the mani and turbo housing 'cause dayam the underhood temp is hot. I need to get some of the stuff Stan or Art is using to wrap my AC lines because they are cooking. I'm considering wrapping the IC as well cause it's a bit warm especially considering the cold side of the IC is actually COLD.
Many many thanks to this board for it's support. I hope to run into some of the San Antonio peeps-I know there are quita a few of y'all out there

update: This morning when I was dropping by Thunder fab I busted my drivers side axle. Damn remanufactured units.
