well if there is no reason for the filter, than there is going to be a very small market for them and thus noone will make them...

check K&N's website, they list filters by size, you should be able to find one. I've been thinking of getting one myself. I occasionally have to drive on a dirt road, and everyone knows the Type s leaks air in at certain times....
