How many of you make, or know of a civic that makes over 350 whp spending under 25k?? Any help would be greatly appreciated(i'm trying to prove some dick-head import hater wrong haha)
EDIT: it has to be with a b16 as well

Unless you spend like $20K on a candy paintjob, $3,000 on your 18" spinners and the last $2,000 on tinted windows, a system and a APC exhaust, LOL. Tell him to go spank his monkey over his Mustang or whatever POS he drives, cause he wont get any good ***** with a hater attitude like that. LMAO!

$1500 stand alone fuel managment
$3000 dart block sleeved
$1000 built head
$1500 itr lsd tranny
$3500 turbo kit running 30 psi
a little over $10,000 and that will yield more than 350whp

Drag kit - 2800
Hondata/injectors/pump - $800
Rods/pistons/head gasket/studs - $1000
400whp
Add another 1000 for a sleeved block and you'll have a bulletproof 400whp.

$1500 - B16 swap LINK
$3000 - engine sleeving, internal work LINK
$2700-$3500 Turbo Kit (ie Revhard or Full Race, but pretty much any T3/T4 kit can make that power.
$100-$1500 - EMS (Uberdata basic setup = $100, Hondata, Crome, Neptune, AEM EMS)
$330 - 550 cc or 750 cc injectors
$100 - 255 lph fuel pump
$315 - wideband O2 setup
$500-$800 Full 3" cat and exhaust
$1000 - misc others: gauges, clutch, axles (not really needed for 350 HP though), traction bar
A sleeved and built B16 can handle a lot of power. And with a T04E or larger turbo it is very easy to make that much power on them. There are lots of threads on H-T about it, you just gotta search for them.

I didn't even spend $25K if you add in the price of the car. B16A2, sleeved, forged internals, DIY turbo kit, Quaife, clutch, EMS, etc, all the usual stuff.
And before anyone says it, yes, I know, I suck at drag racing:

How do you suck at drag racing? You had a hell of a good 60', good 1/8 mile and a nice 1/4 mile time. A 1.8 60' foot is pretty good with a FWD.
Also, I know a car that was around my way: 92 Civic CX hatch, B16A, 3 mm head gasket, some head work, stock bottom end, T3/T4 turbo, 14 psi. and 357whp on a mustang dyno. That car was quick as ****. No one expected it to run the way it did.

My launch has gotten acceptable, but I shift like a granny, and I lose track of my RPM's, then end up shifting too late. I really think I should be in the 11's in that car, but I keep hitting 12.0-12.1's. I'll keep practicing though, hopefully someday I'll get it all together.

haha cause that will make the power, but you need things to handle it ie: clutch, engine mounts things of that nature then pay for tuning...all that good stuff
