turbo gods what size turbo??
Well, I'm getting a fat check from the IRS this year so I'm gonna rebuild my engine. Was originally planning to stay true to my all motor peeps, but I've been swayed to the FI side. These days with the K series out, the B series engines are somewhat power limited in comparison for street use; and I don't wanna be filling my tank up with 110 all the time to get the power I want.
So, long story short, I want bOOst!...
I'm not gonna ask the obvious questions and get flamed here, I just need to know what turbo size and piping I need for the power I want.
Here's what I have:
B18C1
Here's how I plan to build it:
GE sleeves
micropolished/balanced LS crank (sure I can find one somewhere)
Weisco pistons 84mm 10:1 CR (or lower)
Crower rods (or eagle with larger end bolt)
ARP rod bolts
O-ring
Deck Plate
new bearings, water pump... etc.
Head:
portflow Ported (already)
springs/retainers (I'll use the old ones portflow/ITR)
Crower turbo cams
Looking for 375-425whp on 91 and 600+ on race gas... Is that feasable?

Feasible? Well, you havent told us anything about your turbo and fuel set up. And why the LS crank? 10:1 is a good compression if you have a competent tuner. Your goals are realistic assuming the proper turbo set up.

Haven't put much thought into the fuel setup at this point, but any advice would be appreciated, as I am a nOOb to this area... I don't like any of the "kits" out there so most of the work will be custom done.
I figured with the increased displacement, I could reach my power goals with less boost.
I'm leaving it up to you guys to help me choose a turbo setup.
