Default Few Questions before i buy parts

Ok im building a b16.

Plans are

b16 81.5mm bore 9.5:1
New Eagle Rods with big bolts
spoolin performance Manifold.
3 in DP
RSR GTII exhaust no cat no resonator
Garret .63 trim t3/t4 15 psi
Ebay innercooler
Intake Manifold Not sure yet
ITR Head
ITR 4.7 FD LSD Tranny
STR Fuel Rail
walbro 255
Fuel injectors???
Cromepro p28 and ill be tuning.

what size injectors should i be using? i was thinkin RC 550 saturated.
will this buildup be safe on 95 octane?
Are the ebay FMIC any good?
is 9.5:1 too much compression for 15lbs with 95 octane?
what is a good intake manifold for mid/high RPM?

Injectors:
depends on power goals. My 550's are at 79%DC with 375whp. I'd say get some 1000's so you have room to grow (boost is addicting).

Yes, that should be safe of 95 octane. Just don't throw like 30psi at your motor on pump gas haha.

FMIC
No idea, I'll let someone else take over

Compression
No, as long as it is tuned properly.

Manifold:
Edelbrock Victor X is a good for high rpm's.

yea for 450whp you would probably be fine with 660s...but I'd get 750's like you said.

Personally I like either the JRC ( http://www.johnnyracecar.com ) or the CCA ( http://www.speedpartsrus.com ) for a mild setup.

I think you might want to NOT get a 4.785 FD in your tranny. Traction is a ************ with a 4.400 FD...

I think you might want to get a .48 A/R hotside not a .63. The smaller displacement of the B16 combined with the reduced compression will make for some decent lag. You're not trying to build the world's highest HP B16, so you might as well make some choices that give you a broader powerband.

If you get an ITR head + ITR cams, get *aftermarket* valvetrain because you will be able to continue to make power very high in the rev range. This will help driveability a lot, but you do NOT want to be revving stock ITR valvetrain past 83-8400 on a regular basis. To do so is inviting a dropped valve, IMHO.

good luck.

8300-8400 RPM's on a ITR head... lol Ive been revving to 9200-9500 for over 2 years with this head and it sounds like it wants me to keep going

Don't be mad if I say, "Told you so."

In my experience, GSR heads do not stay in one piece above 8200 RPM for long periods of time.

In my experience, ITR heads do not like living past 8500 RPM for long periods of time.

I've seen *many* motors that have experienced valvetrain failure of one variety or another. They're never pretty.

If you want to halfass ****, ask someone else for advice. If you want stuff to stay in one piece for a long time, listen. I'm not saying that your motor will certainly experience valvetrain failure for revving it to 9200-9500. I'm saying that I wouldn't do it if I wanted it to last.

lol its been doing it for 2 years. valve lash has only needed adjusted once. valve seals and everything is fine. no bent valves. had to remove the head when i blew the headgasket so i had it looked at and see if it was warped and it was all good in the hood.

And Im using the 4.7 FD LSD tranny now. but who knows ill prolly trade it for a nice GSR or LS tranny. most likely GSR.
