Default A few questions about my H22 rebuild...

The ultimate goal is to hit atleast 600whp so Ill go from there with my questions.

1) I purchased ARP head studs. Do I also need ARP main studs or can I use factory?

2) Are ARP torque specs the same as factory specs?

3) Should I do anything extra to the crank or is stock fine? Maybe balance it?

4) Main and rod bearings. Stock or aftermarket? If aftermarket what brand.

5) Fuel rail. Will stock do what I want? If not what brand should I look into.

6)Gaskets, is OEM the best route?

1) oem main studs will work
2) Arp have their own torque specs but the main thing is that you retorque it properly
3) Balance the rotating assembly
4) Oem or acl race
5) Aftermarket fuel rail should be a minimum your fuel setup needs alot more to have 600whp and be safe. roskoracing, bdl, aem, aeromotive etc..
6) OEM

Last night I bought ARP main studs before reading this.

What would you say the odds are that something bad happens if I dont balance the rotating assembly and leave it in stock from the factory. Is it a big enough concern to restrip the block?

I have an aeromotive FPR and 1000cc precision injectors. Is a fuel rail necessary knowing that?
Can the stock fuel rail handle the flow?
