okay guys...so i was out friday night with alot of the big guys and ricers in the twin cities and of course, we were at a deserted place racing back and forth. i ran against a wrx that night...with my FTL he didn't take that big of a jump on me and in second gear i was right at his tail light and gaining fast when at the end of second gear i accidentally switched into 5th gear instead of 3rd and heard a booming noise that sounded like my charge pipe flew off. from there on he just kept going... after that night every time i tried to take it to my redline (7.5k) it starts to crap out on me at 6k...it sounds almost like a fuel cut off or something...but sometimes it goes past 6k and hits redline fine. has anyone ever had this happen to them? you guys think it's my fuel pump?? spark plugs?? ecu?? i'm gonna change spark plugs today and see how that goes. any input would be nice.

it could be a fuel issue, or it could a timing issue. i would check both. i had a friend who had his retarded way too much and he had the same problems.
