Fastest Honda in Sweden 2004!!!
Daniel's car was the fastest Honda Del Sol in Sweden in 2004, almost taking first place in the SDC (swedish drag championship) and Toyo tires championship. He lost narrowly to some muscle cars, yea their racing series includes all makes and models. He accomplished this in his Del Sol with just a DRAG Gen 3 turbo kit.
He's in the process of building the car for the 2005 season to take the title outright. Here are some pics of the progress: http://www.tokis.net/gallery/albums/...7/DSC00141.jpg http://www.tokis.net/gallery/albums/...7/DSC00143.jpg http://www.tokis.net/gallery/albums/...5/DSC00098.jpg |
New setup looks real nice. Congrats on the fastest Del Sol in Sweeden. Should have no problem taking the championship this year.

Nice setup, is he racing at the Toyo King of Europe races this June? I am planning on going though. The race is being held in Belguim. They are also having a big drift even also.

It´s my delsol.. and first i would like to start to thanks importparts for all the service https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif its the best! last year the main goal was to not break the motor.. i boosted 0.5bar on stock b16a2. i hadnt really planned to compete with it, but i was in 2 part contest of toyo tires championship and sdc and i have a hell of a time! not just racing for times but to compete against the reaction time and light. the class that i competed in was street and had a dial in on 8.900 .. everything has to be streetlegal so the tires sucked big time but my setup was good for the dial in. next year im planning to run in bracket.... thats gonna be quite a challange... we have 1/4 mile tracks but the are tracks just for the day.. airstrips.. but we have one dedicated strip and thats in the town i live and its just 1/8mile.. so thats we i got most of my times on 1/8mile.

Re: Fastest Honda in Sweden 2004!!! (TURBODC4TEG)
haha yeah.. we wasted a day on buying parts and figuring how to make it so short but still working oil return... our test with water showed that it worked so hope its the same with oil hehe

Re: Fastest Honda in Sweden 2004!!! (ben@importparts.com)
thats pretty impressive that you were beating all the muscle cars in the 1/8th. Turbo hondas aren't the best at cutting fast 1.8th times.

I actually ran my best time there so far of 13.5@104, it was the same day i was having my hondata retuned, I was lucky to find a hondata tuner here in Germany and he did a great job, i picked up .4 to my ET from 13.9, and 3mph from 101 to 104. Hey importparts.com, is your company looking for any sponsored cars over here, let me know theres a huge honda interest over here in Germany and would be happy to spread the word for you guys. Nice...

good times specialy for a del sol. I live in the Netherlands and have raced this year 2 times @ bitburg 1 time with my jdm itr engine in my old EK 13.5sec (rip)
and second time with a b16 trubo in my eg 12,7 with little slicks having to shift to 5 But are you comming to king of europe??? And you should come to bitburg this year. |
since i had a dial in on 8.9 i didnt wanted to change my setup.. it would only be a disadvantage.... i was launching at 4000rpm with 15" yokohama a-539... got a 2.2 60 foot time... but this year i compete in another class... and i will hunt some timecards too...
I will show up on king of europe if i get what i expect from my motor when i dyno it https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif edit: the car weights about 2800lbs last season with me in it |
Re: (infra)
I come from Germany. We were in Luckau. Made 13.5 on 1/4. With a "5th injector"setup , 8.2cr and 0.8bar and a very conversative tuning. This season everything will be completely different. Thanks to Importparts! You made us happy:-)
We also hope to be in Bitburg. We also have our turbo on delsol see http://www.mkr-turbo.dd.vu I know it is a cheap looking side that needs to be updated :-) |
Re: (hondaapi)
