Fake vs. Real Greddy type s bov
What is the difference in a real greddy type s bov and a fake one? Im finding it hard to find this info because some people are saying the casting changed over the years. I need to know because I bought the bov off one of my good friends that had it on his sti and the person I sold it to is claiming its fake. I'm just having a very hard time believing that the person who sold it to me would buy ANYTHING fake int he first place. Thanks in advance

alot of people buy fakes and not know it. there are some really good fakes out there. you need to post pics to get a good opinion

Re: Fake vs. Real Greddy type s bov
Problem solved, I got ahold of my buddy that I initially bought it off and found out its actually an ngr type s which if I'm correct is actally better correct? Better diaphram... Think 80 buck is a fair price for one thats barely used?

Re: Fake vs. Real Greddy type s bov
The NGR is not necessarily "better" than the original but is definitely a much better and well-thought out reproduction of the great Type S. If you can get it, do so... As to whether or not it is a fair price used, no one here uses them enough to determine that.
