factory sound deadening removal??
anyone have and easy method for removal of this stuff. Right now it's a combination of a 1000 farenheit heat gun, a few gasket scrappers, and a wiz wheel(die grinder). Anyone have a better method cause right now it is coming off but in very small sections and it's taking forever. I know someone has to know an easier and quicker way. Thanks

You could get block of dry ice and smash it up. Spread it out on top of the material. Wait a while and it can be chipped off with a flathead screwdriver. If you don't mind working in the cold, below freezing temps outside have a similar effect. The residue can be cleaned up with carb cleaner and paper towels.

well its easier if its cold outside, so that the ice does not melt as fast,JUST DONT BURN YOUR HANDS

Just get some insulated gloves and don't hold it for too long. I used 30lbs in my integra, I did do it when it was warmer out so it melted a little quicker, but 20-30 lbs should be plenty. Go at it with a hammer, spread, and watch it all pop up
