Default EXTREMELY high oil pressure??!?

I just finished installing my oil pressure gauge today and my gauge reads 25PSI at idle and bounces off 100PSI when I'm like above 3k...I'm using a Greddy Oil Sandwich Adapter?? Someone help me out please!! I don't wanna break anything with such high oil pressure...Thanks in advance H-T!

Some little facts that might help..it's an H22A with fmax turbo kit...10w-30 Quaker State oil...

I just did an oil change today...could using a small filter cause such a drastic change in pressure? I have nothing to compare to as this is the first time I've had my gauge...

after watching the video...I see that max is actually about 85PSI..its hits 100PSI but bounces down..so my idle is a little high..is that fine?

looks fine to me...

the high psi is normal...

the idle is high... but it sure is better to have high than low

Is that video showing the car at full operating temp or at startup?

My H22A had pressure about like yours when it was warming up, but did drop a bit lower after getting to full temp.

this was at operating temp...I had just started up the car...but have been driving it like 5 minutes before...so it was still in operating temp

I'm using quaker state oil for my break in...AEBS said pretty much any 10w-30 oil for break in as long as its not synthetic

i was talking about the sender if he had an electric gauge. electric gauges come with a sender that has to be grounded. did you even read my post or just look for something to prove wrong again?

My sender didn't need to be ground...not sure on the older style ones though?

That is the link to the instruction manual...I personally don't think its an install issue tho.

Well, warm idle PSI is a little higher then mine, but WOT is the same. I normally sit at like 50 psi at cold idle and the drop down to like 12-15 when it's really warm. But I am pretty sure mine is kinda low for warm idle. You don't have anything to worry about, actually you should feel more secure about those higer revs. And unless you can't stop blowing oil seals, you are better off anyways. Oh, and if you didn't already see my sig, I have a jdm H22A.
