Default exhaust manifold baking my paint

well thats my assumption.. i had a pos obx turbo manifold and it was very thin and im sure vented alot of heat to my hood and in that area the paint is completely baked off... now i have a rev hard cast iron mani. i just stripped my hood and im wondering if i should bother having it repainted if its going to happen again.. is there a way to
stop or slow this process like raising the rear of the hood to vent the heat or
something... or maybe my paint was going to fall off anyway... let me know if youve had
the same problem or if my problem is even legitimate..

BTW i wasnt sure if it was apearance related or due to the fact that i have a turbo manifold so i posted it here so back off honda-tech ***** lol

Wrap your mani with header wrap and you should be good to go.
