Default exhaust for jrsc gsr

my bro gots a jrsc gsr and its damn loud...he has a tanabe racing medallion on it now. what kind of exhaust could he get (or have custom made) to quiet it down without losing performance?? with the silencer in...its REALLY quiet, but you can feel the loss in performance.

A mugen twin loop solved my load exhaust problem.
I use a magnaflow resinator inline and it still makes good power too.

Get a custom system. 2.5" will be plenty big enough. Have two resonators installed (like the stock integra type-r system). If he removes the cat then have it replaced with a resonated test pipe or a small glasspack muffler (some guys call them resonators). You can get one for about $25 plus the cost of welding on flanges. This is what I have on my jrsc Type-R. It has a straight through Magnaflow muffler and still is not much louder than stock.

Sebring, thats what the muffler shop had in stock w/ straight through design. Anything w/ a straight through design will work.

Magnaflow 2.5 inch in/out, 24 inch long. Straight throw, quiet as stock.

Dude, if you want quiet, I would go with a Greddy setup. May not be the best for preformance, but Greddy is always quality.

Or sell the car and buy a Hyundia, then it will be quiet.

My worthless suggestion that doesn't help.
