Exhaust housing swap question (searched)
Sup folks. I'm tryin to figure out what all is entailed when looking to swap out the compressor or exhaust side on turbos. I searched "exhaust side" and "exhaust housing", but i'm not findin what i'm lookin for. I've got a 42/48 T3 from a volvo on my Sohc right now. I'm getting a 60/63 in the next few days. I've got issues with lag already so im thinkin bigger isnt neccessarily better. But i figure if i put the 60 compressor side with the 48 exhaust side, spool should be roughly the same and it'll help a lot. Now to do this, do you just swap the housing itself or must that side of the turbine be swapped as well? This concept sort of confuses me, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Exhaust housing swap question (89SiPimpin)
you can just swap the housings..it's no problem .
BTW your lag is because of your timing...1 degree per PSI is prolly robbing you 400-700rpms is lag and that's no joke .
BTW your car is the ****....like really the ****
