exedy organic racing clutch got questions please clarify.
okay i have a 93 cx with a 92 d16z6 engine in it.
when i did the swap , i replace the stock clutch with a oem replacement exedy clutch for the d16z6. at the same time i swapped flywheel from my cx( it was lighter than the d16z6 flywheel). I INSTALLED the oe exedy clutch along with the cx flywheel. everything have been great so far.
now i have added nitrous to the car and the clutch is slipping bad. so, i ordered the organic racing clutch today from clutchcityonline. rated 69 percent over stock. \
but then i surf coximport and it said that i need to change my flywheel to a 1.6l d16z6 to run this clutch. why? if the oe clutch for the d16z6 fits on the cx flywheel, why would i need to use a 1.6l flywheel for the organic clutch for a d16z6. can't i just use it with my cx flywheel? please answer my stupid question

hmm you probly figured this out by now,
but yeah i'm pretty sure you can use the cx flywheel.
unless theres something wierd about how the exedy clutch is built.
but dseries should be dseries.
there isnt really anything different going on(that i know of) imbetween the tranny and the block..

A 10 year old thread? really?
pm the op, although he hasn't been active for 6 months
And I don't care who says what, the stage 1 full face sprung hub organic disc doesn't hold up to any decent power increase.
