Endyn Catch Can Install on a Mounted B18B
So I picked up the Endyn Catch Can setup to throw on my boosted B18B, once I saw the directions however it seems like a huge bitch to install on a motor while its in the car. My Oil line off the back of the block covers one of the ports, and it looks like I'd need to pull the IM to do a clean install. What's your take, should I sell it and get a simpler setup like the Greddy style? Or is the install really not that tough on an installed motor, it just looks that way?

it's not hard i had to pull my bracket off the intake manifold pull those to hexegon things off and it will be cool. it was very easy. just make sure you mount it high enough. i mounted mine by the battery. works great.

yeah do it with everything in the car - hint the hex is 14mm, good luch finding itbut use an m10 bolt and double nut it with 14mm head bolts and then unscrew the block plugs.
next I found it hard to slip the hose onto the barb fitting of the endyn plugs so I put the hose and clamps on first, then screwed into the block, my fittings came with anaerobic sealant so i did not use any more. and as already said the only way you will get the drainback feature to work properly is if you mount the can with filter as high as possible. I also went on the firewall beside the battery. also if you do not want to use steel tapping screws for the can bracket, if your dash is out you can fit a hand behind the vent tunnel to catch a bolt with a self locking nut.
