emissions, integra turbo, Greddy CARB kit
Well since I live in a state with visual and sniff testing (MD) that limits my options of turboing any car I want. It would seem my only option would be to but the Greddy CARB legal kit for the integra. Well with an intercooler the GSR kit puts down 255hp to the wheels and the ls w/o intercooler puts down about 164hp. I know ls handles boost better than GSR (so I have I heard) but my question is which car and kit should I buy?
Some of my thoughts:
-Ls cheeper than GSR
-if I build a turbo ready ls motor can I pump up the boost and turn it down to the stock 6psi for emissions with only the FMU?
-if I change any management on the turbo does that eliminate the CARB status?
Anyones thoughts would helpfull.
Eric

Re: emissions, integra turbo, Greddy CARB kit (falconGSR)
Well I like to have a long term plan worked out. I would hate to buy a car and then realize that I should have gone with something else which would have been better for me. Therefore the questions I have play a big part in which car I will buy. I am planning on getting one in about a month so I am trying to figure all this stuff out first. It would be sooo much easier if MD didnt have emission testing. I envy all you in places like Fl that dont have it.

i live in Silver spring MD, just get a DRAG kit for a GSR and keep stock exhaust, you shouldnt have any trouble with emiisions.

What is this crap?

well you can argue LS vs GSR until you're blue in the face. well some people can. what that means is that it doesnt make too much difference in the end. aim for a GSR, settle for an LS if the deal is too good to pass up. the used car market and availability will determine what you end up with. so get either one. i dont think you'll regret it either way.
