Em1 B16 JRSC idles bad and undrivable
Hi everyone, like the title says a have a em1 with a B16 and recipe toy just put on a jrsc. The car has 60k initial along with the engine all original. No check engine lights. If the bypass valve is zip tied open the car won't start. I have a fpr on dialed down to 32 psi that's the only way it will start. Tore apart the head thinking maybe I had bad valve or a bad head gasket but still runs the same. OEM fuel system and injectors on OEM P2T ecu. The car is completely urn drivable because if you give it more the 25% throttle it wants to cut cut but if I drops to idle too fast it dies out. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Hey it's another "I'm a F@&$ing *****" posting! I've done plenty a turbo'd and SC'd cars compared to your junk yard turbo D15b sitting in your moms driveway. If you don't have anything insightful to post, then stick to your chat room **** talking.
Maxwell I am just trying to work out the kinks to drive it to get emissions every year, then go back to the tuned ecu.

In your title should said trying to setup to limp to inspection with jrsc, you might have got a better response. Its going to be compromise without a tune. If you have the proper meters afr and a little know how and you keep out of boost might be able to limp by, but at the inspection station no clue. Without a tune you might only be able to do that 25% throttle. I would back the distributor off a few degrees and ensure the afr is good at idle and light driving, other than that your asking for problems. I almost would think it would be better do what I have heard a lot of people do drop a stock engine in for inspection, glad my state has no inspections.

You should pull off all the jrsc stuff and revert everything back to stock if you're trying to pass emissions. Stop trying to rig stuff.
At least then any issues the car has can be traced back and diagnosed as a stock set up and not a rigged up one
