EK Hatch B18c4 Evo Twin Scroll Build.
Thought I'd show you guys what I'm upto, nothing ground breaking, just a nice daily driver.
Still waiting on a few bits, that should be here this week, but I sterted to strip off the n/a bits at the weekend ready.
Car is a 98' EK3 hatch, with B18c4 Swap (same as your b18c1), with S9B LSD box, lightweight flywheel, Stage 1 exedy clutch. I picked up my kit 2nd hand, done a few thousand miles with previous owner in an EG hatch (thinking the boost pipe work will need some modification to fit mine..)
The car is already running on Hondata S300.
Parts I'll be fitting -
Racetech Turbo Kit - Twin Scroll Tubular manifold, Tial 38mm w/g, open screamer, Modified Evo 8 turbo, 2.5 downpipe. IC setup 2" hot side, 2.5" cold side.
725cc iD Injectors
Omni Power 3 bar map sensor
Blox intake manifold
Omni power 68mm t/b
Uprated rear mount.
Looking for 300bhp or whatever the clutch will take for now...
Never had a turbo Honda before so really looking forward to it!
The car
The kit and parts...
More to follow during the week.

that wastegate placement is weird... hope it doesnt creep due to the length and bends leading to the wastegate... and why weld a piece of tubing to the compressor housing when you can simply bolt an outlet to it?

I have no idea, this is how the kit was when I got it, the guy that builds them has changed them slightly now, but I'm not sure in exactly what way....
Aslong as it makes good power I'll be happy.

It will work, seems like the TD05H-R does well on B series motors for mild builds. I wish I would have not sold mine. I think those are coolant lines, keep in mind this is a oil and water cooled turbo.

Thats an interesting exhaust manifold, I haven't seen one like that.
What do you think of the quality of the Blox IM? I'm thinking about getting one just because it's cheaper than the Skunk2. Does anyone know if there are greater power differences between the two?

^^^^ You won't notice a power difference between them. There both a replica of the itr/ctr manifold...

The fat lines in the pic are water lines, the oil feed is slightly smaller.

I agree, i see priority issues with that wastegate placement, if it creeps when installed, remove the wastegate and do a 3rd gear full pull, it should make ZERO boost. If you are making boost, its because the exhaust gas cannot flow correctly to the wastegate collector, and creep will be a problem.

another thing is how small is that downpipe? it looks rather restrictive for how high and free flowing our vtec motors are.... i'recommend at least a 70mm to a little under 90mm (3") downpipe

Downpipe is 2.5" which is pretty common size I thought. RaceTech told me its fine for what power I'm after.
I'll be running open downpipe, so no other restrictions.
