Default EGT temp raised after installed new spark plugs.

I was using NGK Bcpr7es and my EGT was at 580 Celcius @ 80mph..10 Vacumm...
But after I changed to the NGK R5671a-9 gapped at .028 (a step colder?)...My temp goes up to 620 Celcius at the same speed...
Is this supposed to happen? And what's your EGT temp?

Try adjusting your fuel...sound like you're running lean on fuel. Is your fuel pressure regulator up to the task? Try lowering the boost and see if the EGT cools down a bit.

bad advice, high egts are fine while cruising, actually 600 C even seems low.

I'm pretty sure I'm not running lean..600 c is kinda rich..I was just wondering why a step colder plug would raised temp..
