EGT or Air/Fuel Gauge???
Which gauge am I best to use the Greddy A/F gauge which includes its own O2 sensor or should I get the Greddy EGT gauge. I have never used an EGT gauge, is it as good as the A/f gauge or is it better?

EGT is going to give you more info about your timing then fuel... its really up to you A/F I'm more in favor of for a first gauge, and egt can wait till later.
Just make sure EXACTLY what timing your running and that those bolts are tight

bah, I don't think any a/f gauge can be that much better than another, they all use the same sensor. The BEST way to read it is with a voltmeter, IMO, but it's not that handy to read while you're driving all the time.

Not true the Greddy Gauge has its own sensor and it costs a shitload more than the others, its actually pretty accurate. not perfect but very good. I wish i could have a wide band but i dont have the $$$

you could buy the parts yourself and spend les than $200,the kit cost me $23 + $115 for an o2 sensor, now all i need is a display or voltmeter to have a wideband up and running.

The Greddy is semi wide band because it doesn't provide the full 5volts that is needed to be considered a true wideband. The Greddy uses a heated 4 wire NTK sensor that is a step below the 5 wire L1H1 NTK used by most wide bands. I ordered my DIY sensor yesterday so I hope I will be able to find an L1H1 sensor soon.

I forgot to add this...
If you have the money get both because sometimes overly rich conditions will give high EGT readings. Why? Because the unburnt fuel will combust in the extremely hot manifold or exhaust housing which in turn will show a high EGT. I only have three gauges in my car for now (EGT, Boost, AF ratio) but that will change once my Stack 8130 arrives . Oops! I lied because I also have a fuel psi gauge under the hood.

You get both to be sure! Some people really solely on EGT's and only an idiot would run a turbo setup without an EGT on the street.
