Totally agree. I also think 249whp is pretty weak for a GSR. I would expect a minimum of 300whp and up to 350whp wouldn't be out the question.

I say buy it for a simple begginner setup, then when you get a built motor use the carb number.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by .Lloyd Braun &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Greddy 19t kit...outgrew it within 1000 miles but got a great deal so I got it.

it's on a 99 DX so it is not legal, (it is legal on 96-00 EX but only legal if there is no BOV and no intercooler, which is a retarded way to run a turbo setup)

no cat, ever

It's a great improvement over the 15g kit they offered for the 92-00 civic the compressor has two stages of whistle...the first is the same as the 15g kit but the 19t has a second "stage" of sound which is probably where it becomes more efficient than the 15g.

anyways I'm probably done with all this for awhile and will leave the kit off when I smog next month until I finish college and can afford a real turbo setup.

to the OP: if you do go with a Greddy kit don't use the Emanage, it will work but it sucks...get a chipped ECU and run crome or uber like I did, it was a night and day difference between Emanage and crome so much better.

good luck
</TD></TR></TABLE>

The Greddy small intercooler IS legal. The BOV you simply hide in the fender area and they won't say crap about it.
