Default Edelbrock SOHC Turbo Kit

Hey, im new to this forum. I had a quick question... Im using the Edelbrock turbo kit for my z6 and i wanted to know what is a safe boost level? I blew the ringlands a couple of months ago on 13psi and rebuilt the block back to stock (i know i shoulda just gone with forged pistons). Right now i set it at 8psi but i was wondering if i could go any higher w/ out blowing or leaning out...

Thanks
-Mark

i would say, it's all in the tune... as far as i know, the kit uses some piggyback device for fuel injection... get a good engine management and a good tuner and he can bring you to a safe level with good power.

A wide band 02 will really let you know where you are at. As for keeping things safe just stay conservative with the timing+AFR's and you should be ok
