not really a conversion kit for E85. Get bigger injectors 900cc+, FPR that can handle high fuel pressures, and upgrade your fuel pump(possibly add another one inline). Then after that its all in the tune.

Yup 500 on E85 will require ID1000s at 100psi base fuel pressure to be at a safe duty cycle. And you will need a Bosch 044 to get the required flow at that pressure.

ITSJDM,

To avoid running elevated fuel pressures you can just buy a larger injector and run normal fuel pressure. If you want the new Bosch technology like the ID1000(900cc/min) there are 1100cc/min injectors available which you should be able to reach at 60psi with these injectors. You don't have to go to crazy fuel pressures[100psi] and the pumps that are required for that pressure.

well said

alot of people forget that INJ will produce more at higher pressure levels like 1000's@100base will be near 1300cc not safe by anymeans lol but can be done

when I came on and sais we made 650@26psi on 1000cc's with e85 i was called a lier, and it took T1 to come on and say exactly what i just said sad but true

There's no exact price since it all depends what brand of parts you buy plus used or new.. Like everyone said, there's no "e85 conversion kit" but one thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is a stainless steel element fuel filter. As E85 fuel cleans all the petrolium deposits and other gunk from your tank and lines, your fuel filter will be so clogged where you can barely blow through it.

If your going to be strictly on E85, ID1000's or FIC blue max fuel injectors, bosch 044 or dual walbro 255hp as one will not be enough, fuel lab fuel filter, and fuel lab afpr. This setup is pricey ~$1200 or so but you can do it cheaper with different parts and brand.

To answer your question if a stock gsr block would hold up with E85 at 400whp+, I say yes.. E85 runs cooler than pump gas 93 octane (comparable to octane 105), allow you to run more advanced timing due to not knocking like pump gas. With a good tune, you should be safe with E85 and 400whp.

you should purge the tank yes if not then you will probly need to mix it to the exact content it is when its tuned

i was going to do a mix at one time, but im to lazy for that **** lol
