I would go t04e . the t04s is not overkill it just doesnt show any huge gains. i made 559@22psi on a t04e housing.

I agree with mike. Supposedly the S housing flows 10% more, but the E is more efficient. I say supposedly cause thats what we are all told, and there isnt any proof as of yet----unless I missed something.
I like my E housing. Makes good power and spool up time is quick. It has a 2" outlet compared to the S' 2.5 (or 2.25 ??). Unless you have the ic piping and intercooler setup to flow more air, then i dont think its worth it. Also sometimes bigger isnt always better in terms of IC piping and intercooling, so take that into account as well.

So the only dfference on the E housing and S housing is that the E housing is polished all purty?

that seems to be the consensus at the moment........ but i'd say the s-comp would flow more.......... but spooling higher than the E so it depends on what RPM range you'd be in.....for your setup

As of now the head is stock, I will be getting 270 cams, RAS, and valve springs but even then i would not be pushing it over 7,500rpm. Now if it was ahonda i would take it to 8,500rpm all day long. thanks for the advise so far. Also what diffrence does the exhaust size make and how should i select? 48. 63. 81. 58. 68?
Where will this size play into effect? thanks again

i have never seen any evidence that a larger a/r on the compressor side hurts anything, in fact i have seen research that concludes a larger compressor can only help. The downside to a big compressor housing is simply the amount of space it takes up...

RAS. I don't think everyone knows what that is
Rocker Arm Stoppers
SR20's have a bit of problem with the rockers flyig around at high revs, so you stop them from doing that

Probably not new info....My own opinion is it depends on what you are using the car for.....If mainly a street car then i would stay E cover, But then again the sc 61 could acually be too much for a street car with the right setup.

If it is used for racing then I would go S cover.....There is no negative side to the bigger cover other than maybe spool, which doesn't mean sh*t when racing.

Those are just my opinions.....Also maybe look into a turbo that a company can keep on stock? But here is a pic for you, the sc61 T04S cover .70 A/R next to a stock 14B turbo from a talon......

what are you using for a maf?or are you using something with a map sensor?if your maf is smaller than the 4" inlet of the s,you might as well go with the e.i would use the .63 a/r exhaust housing.you should still have pretty good spool with it.
