e-manage interaction light suppose to constantly blink?
 

when i put the emanage in check mode by just turning the car on, the lights come on but none of them blink. but with my car running, the interactive light (laptop connected) not the active light but the interactive light constantly blinks. is it suppose to do this? i thought this light comes on when a laptop is connected.

oh im the only person on here with e-manage...

its real simple. if you are running e-manage, tell me if your interactive light constantly blinks when running.

my friend doesn't in his Ralliart... Whenever it flashed or anyhting. there was generlaly something wrong

interactive or active led?

sry I don't really know Emanage. waht'st eh difference? I was referring to the lights on the sdie of teh actual blue emanage box. like 3 lights I think on the side

2 lights on the side.

1st light - interactive - supposedly lights up when you hook the laptop to it.

2nd light - active light, it can flash to give you the error codes and can flash different colors telling you something i forget.

Oh oaky. in taht case the interactive light always stayed solid. laptop hooked up or not.

always stayed solid sounds as bad as mine constantly blinking...

we need some e-manage gurus

haha yea. seems like not many ppl use emanage comapred to other managments..

but why would they make it so it constantly blinks doesnt make sense. its annoying me i guess i better put some tape over it hah.

mine kinda flashes like a cable modem in use. really fast jittery flashes not consistent with any pattern. i too was wondering what that was

well hmmm, mine is consistent.

flash..flash..flash..flash..flash..

I have emanage. And YES the "interaction" light does BLINK in a steady pulse. This is because i was told there is no connection to comuter, hence the USB port. Not 100% sure.

But the main thing is the active light, the GREEN light. When you give it gas, the Active LED should TURN green and when you let off gas it will go to orange. If the active light is doing what i am saying, then it is working fine.

i believe if youre below 1000rpms then its orange.

yeah my emenage interaction light blinks constant. When the active light starts to go red,yellow,green then you FvCKED.
