Default Dynoed yesterday...guess its AEM EMS time. Info inside.

Well, going into the dyno I knew my car wasnt 100% right. It bogged a lot and didnt pull smoothly up to redline. I figured there was a fuel issue somewhere. Well I was right.

I dynoed with a wideband 02. My first pull in 3rd gear showed my AF at 14.5 to 1 from 2000 rpms till about 6500 rpms. Then it dropped to about 12 to 1 after that...I never took it to redline on the dyno in fear of blowing it up from running lean.

I did one more pull in 4th gear and netted the same results...way lean from low rpms until about 6000 rpms or so then it just starts dumping fuel. At that point the J&S is almost fully lit up so I know my timing is next to nothing.

My options are buy some 310 injectors and a V-afc and tune it or buy some 550 injectors and a standalone and be done with it and not worry about upgrading later when I go bigger b00st.

Im going standalone...AEM EMS. Now I just need a good place to buy injectors from so my checking account doesnt bottom out!

BTW: my peak boost (6psi) didnt hit until like 6500 rpms I believe...have to double check...and then by 7500 rpms when I let off the gas it had crept up to 7.4 psi. So much for the Tial wastegate to help rid that.

Here's the graph. you can see how it doesnt hit 6psi until like 7000 rpms and then it creeps to 7.4 psi ...thats when I let off the gas.

you are always gonna see lean, or stochiometric, at part throttle. But if you were getting those at WOT then you do have problems.
Ben@importparts is having killer deal on the 550cc injectors from RC and you can get the AEM EMS from Viren.

So what were your dyno #'s?

Art: my readings were all at WOT. So yea, big problems.

Rather not mention my dyno numbers...the graph after vtec looks like a heart monitor...it goes up and down..not a steady line at all. I let off the throttle at 7400-7500 rpms...so it didnt even go to redline......
but if you must know it read 205.8hp, 150tq.

Oh yeah the Metroplex Special SOHC put down more torque than the ITR

Now I have something to brag about.

Good luck man, my dyno was a bit of an EKG look alike also, time for me to plop down and get the EMS also.
