haha
there is nothing wrong with it
i said i was happy
i guess i was just wondering if those are good numbers for a d16 turbo at 8.5 psi

Re: Dyno'd my stock d16 turbo today (Trigun)
yeah
here is a general rule of thumb
crazy body kits + loud exhaust + clear corners + police = lots of fix it tickets
clean car + not so loud exhaust + amber reflectors + police = have a nice day
although i still do get pulled over every once in a while
fortunately for me i have a greddy kit and the legal papers to go with them

Re: Dyno'd my stock d16 turbo today (xbird)
im running a greddy kit
put together ghetto style
12:1 fmu
holley intank fuel pump (forced induction version)
stock injectors
2.5 inch exhaust piping
timing is about 5 degrees retarded
msd sci ignition and blaster 2 coil w/msd wires
2 step colder ngk plugs gapped at .035
here is my dyno chart
running kinda rich on idle
hopefully i can fix that when i get a better fuel regulator
it runs strong, my only gripe is that i still have a stock clutch
and yes it slips like a bitch

do u have anything to control your a/f?? like an VAFC??
Also, i am not quite sure what you mean when you say timing is about 5 degrees retarded? what doesthat mean?? sorry, i am not really a car expert

Re: Dyno'd my stock d16 turbo today (xbird)
thanks
right now i figure its pretty fast enough
i might upgrade the internals and slap a vtec head and get a standalone like the aem ems system, then boost to 14 psi
but thats a maybe
what i want to do is just drive this around for a while, and build up a new motor, possibly ls/vtec turbo and then when its all done drop it in
but i dunno yet

Wow, nice numbers bro. I would watch it with that 12:1 FMU and stock injectors though, that is definately why you run too rich at low rpms.
