Default Dyno'd Ls. 191whp w/ 177 tq. @6-7psi sound right?

I was kinda hopeing to make a little more but im happy with the results. way better than the base dyno which only made 97whp w/ 103 tq lol. Im running

t3 .60 trim on log style mani
afc tuned
vortec fmu
b&m fuel optimizer
2.25 in down pipe, stock cat, 2.25 in catback
370 rc injectors

just changed the plugs. and wires. im not running an inline or intank fuel pump. could this be holding me back?

anywho my first time on boost and as i hit the main street and started to spool i was like OOOOO ****!!

something seems wrong. Your base run is low also. What is your compression in your cylinders?

i never did a compression test. ill get one done this week. car seems to run fine though. no smoke from the pipe and dosnt burn oil at all. no leaks either.

seems to be really low...a D16Z6 with the bolt on Greddy kit will make this kind of power...

What kind of dyno was this? Do you have a printout?

191whp@6psi sounds about right but I think your right about the pump so it could be costing you HP,you should really upgrade it with like a walbro 190 or 255lph pump.

Check the comp. When i had a gsr fuel pump (which is basicly the same as a civic one...if it isnt the same as a civic one) i made 242whp at 10 psi on my 50 trim turbo. with the walbro and the big turbo i made 265whp on 10 psi. Check your comp. Also whats your base timeing set at? Maybe you dont have enough timeing on the motor.

power seems about right for the hack.

Switch to uberdata or AEM and you'll get more power I'd bet.

Power numbers seem ok based on the parts your using. Why on earth are you using the hack w/an FMU?

BTW: Those 370's are almost maxed out

to tell u the truth, i dont know. I wont be up'ing the boost anytime soon so the injectors should be fine. wen it starts to build boost around 2.5k-3-4 it engages smoothly. sometimes i get spikes and sometimes it boggs at lower rpms. is it the fuel pump?

this was on a dyno jet. i have the print out. too bad i dont have a scanner though. the line is smooth and the point i make the most power starts @ 4k and dosnt drop until 6.3k.

that baseline run seem pretty low for an ls, is it the b18a, cause if its a b18b then you really need to do a compression test, even for b18a thats low whp.

thats about right for 6 psi. Wtf are you guys talking about? You made 240 whp on 10 psi, he would do the same at 10. He may have a lil low of compression but his numbers are fine for his PSI

the tuner told me the spring was for 6psi. but my friend i bought it from sed it was for 7. so im not really sure.either or, should be close. this is a b18b 95 w/ 100k miles. I feel the #'s are on the low side.

im just guessing but im using a bocsh bov and i can hear a little bit of air passing through as the rpms climb. can this effect my #'s?

your numbers are fine... i made 196whp and 186 ft lbs @ 8 psi .. its a little low but motor is very healthy... 180 straight across which is what i had even before i went turbo.. the tune was also slightly conservative.

Lose the stock cat. That thing is a big restriction.

What does a cat have to do with your passing smog?

Get a 3" catalytic converter housing and hollow it out, shove 3" ID straight pipe through it. Be careful, the comb is carcinogenic and laden with heavy metals; keep it damp, wear a facemask, empty it into a bag and dispose of it safely. FYI, a Yukon with a Vortech 350 has a 3" ID cat... and oddly enough outflows half the aftermarket 3" cats.
