Default dyno #'s and 1/4 track times, new 2.0 LSVtec .7 bar!

Well I'll start off by given a lil info. Last month I shatterd the sleeves in my LS turbo setup for teh 3rd time so It was time for an up grade. The LS-T was uberdata tunned to 20-21psi on a TO4E T4 turbo. best time was 11.5 @ 121 with that.

After just a lil over a month of saveing I managed to have all the parts needed to build my new long block, Hondata, new ACT clutch and new garrett 61mm turbo (wich turned out to look JUST like my old T70 turbo, and prolly is)

Last weekend i started my vacation (woohoo!) and spent 3 nights building the new motor and getting the car ready to go in. Everything went smooth, broke in the engine for 100 miles NA. after 30miles the motor had 210, 200, 200, 205. after 100 miles it was up to 210, 205, 205, 205. So every thing was ready for boost . broke in the turbo and the motor with a decent base tune for a 400 more miles, so 500 miles on the motor... ready to rock N roll now. I changed the oil w/ 20 50 GTX and a new filter. (2nd oil change in 500 miles)

Well enough with the BS, here is some stuff I applied, thanks to Matts tunning skillz (SOHC_Mshue)

.7 bar (10psi) dyno results.

bro save up some money and buy some bigger injectors lol. thats some crazy *** fuel pressure. throw on at least a set of 750cc and retune the car

Thanx man . It will have 1000's soon. We maxed out the injectors and they wouldn't go any richer than 13.5:1 near redline with a base rail pressure around 55psi so we had to up that just to get a decent afr. Those 440's were struggling.

yea i knew that was the reason u needed to up the fuel pressure so high. i had to set my fuel pressure at 60 psi when i was run n PRO1 cams with stock 240cc injectors.

what was the final timing on that motor? i figure since its a 2.0 liter that overall timing was in the low to mid 20's

It was 24*. I didn't really have time to tune the timing though because we only had 3 pulls and I pretty much just threw down a street tune on the way to the dyno since we were pressed for time

Well....we were about to have an aebs manifold on there, but Brad decided he wanted to install it in the middle of my street in front of my house only a few hours before the dyno and we found after pulling the stock mani off that more parts were needed to make it work so thats why we were so pressed for time with tuning.

that timing seems just about right for that setup. shoot i probably coulda gain alot more HP outta the sleeved 84mm LS/VTEC motor i tuned over the summer. the car was running only 7 psi with timing around 24* and it made 310whp.

post up when u retune the car and UP the boost

sick, absolutely sick. interesting you went from hondata to uberdata.

you're giving me some serious hope for myself. how is the ls trans with the vtec? do you fall back out when you upshift?

nope, worked perfect. Not only that, if i had a tighter tranny it would have been WAY too tight to end in 4th w/ my current redline. I hit the rev limit in 4th just before the line , with the LS tranny I love the LS tranny too cuz I drove 38 miles to the track, ran and came back home w/ he niddle still showing just about full Gas mileage is great

So you are saying that you'd rather run the LS tranny right?? Ive heard SO much contraversy on this subject but hardly ever from experience. Im runnin a GSR tranny right now on an lsvtec and its also my d.d.. I thought I had made my mind up to put in a stock ls tranny until I posted my dilema up on H-T. Now I dont know what to do!! Not trying to jack your thread but Im desperate for some experienced input!!)

Im runnin right @ 300whp on my motor. Is that enough to power through the longer gears??

Oh by the way. Awesome #s!!

the gsr will help you accelerate faster if you have the appropriate set up of tires/suspension and you know how to drive. Honestly the LS tranny is a good tranny since it can be a tad more forgiving with the traction

I've told Brad I think he should run a GSR tranny, but he insists on the LS. I think with some tall slicks the GSR tranny will be right for him.

Oh yea a b16 or gsr will be much better with bigger slicks. With 24+" slicks and LS gears its gonna hurt...

Never the less...Awesome numbers for a simple setup. Really nice time too!
