okay for those that don't know

D16y8 stock internals
TD04-15g (greddy kit) intercooled
2 1/4 piping w/ SP

the car was boost spiking once it hit 12psi, which is a very very very bad thing, i must look over all the lines.

12psi - w/ 2 boost spikes up to 14psi
Max power = 220.8 whp
Max torque = 186.7 ft-lbs

14psi - w/ boost spikes up to 15psi
and added a better hose to TB, due to hole from o2 sensor
Max power = 220.6 whp
Max torque = 202.7 ft-lbs

Damn.. if that's true then I should be at the 225whp mark myself, I thought I was closer to 195whp!

no, i didn't i'm going back in a bit to do one, but i need to find out why i'm spiking first...please keep in mind, that this was the highest WHP it read...i didn't level off due to the boost spiking...

Wow man those are some really nice numbers for a greddy sohc. Your runing 12-15 psi on stock internals? May I ask how your doing this and not blowing up. I'm still shocked with those #'s. Hit me up on aol I wanna ask you a few things.

My friends single cam crx made the exact numbers and went 12.6 in the quarter.

Wonder why you made absolutely no more power on the 2nd run at 2 more psi, but 16 more ft/lbs of torque. Is that a typo?
Perhaps the TD04 only flows enough air for 12-14 psi, and makes no more power after that?

you guys remember that the max whp, and torque readings were being read from the BOOST SPIKES, my car didn't maintain the boost from 12+, once i figure out why i'm spiking..yes i'm on stock internals, and no i don't feel comfortable boosting that hi w/ stock internals...my compression is still holding up at 180 180 170 180, i drive daily on stock boost, and only crank it up at the track, also i run a mix of 110 and 93 when i did the dyno, That's the only reason i'll boost that high...i was unable to get a A/F done, due to it not being ready at that particular dyno shop yet. I should be running pretty rich though, they said plenty of black smoke was coming out of the exhaust during the dyno... i'm only using 440cc's, VAFC (hack), and walbro 255lph for my fuel concerns...i've hit 17psi once on the TD04-15g and hope i never boost spike that high again....does anyone know how high the TD04 can boost? that's all the info, and if anyone knows where i can go to host pics, because http://www.webphotos.com doesn't let you anymore...

Very nice! It would be interesting to see what your a/f ratio was like though, if you were running really rich then it sounds like there is even more power to be made. Congrats!

They'll be up soon, but i know i'm running very very rich, technicians behind my car were complaining about too much black smoke once the dyno was over...lol
