Dyno results for my turbo gsr
Hey guys, my custom kit is finally installed on my car and Tony1 dyno'd my car for me at Jotech. My boost was creeping up past .45 bar a little bit but the car made 278 hp and 195 ft lbs to the wheels at 7500 rpm. Tony didn't push it to redline because the boost had crept to .7 bar . I will post the dyno sheet once Tony emails it to me. I still have stock internals so I think this is a little more power than I need to be running, especially since I have 101k on my car.
Edit: The afc hack worked very well for the A/F ratio
Here's my setup:
Turbonetics t3/t4 50 trim .63 AR
Drag 3 manifold
Drag 3 dp (2.5 inch)
Tial wg .45 bar
Greddy Type-S bov
Greddy IC piping
Stainless steel oil line kit
PWR Intercooler (Earl/Ninesecrx groupbuy)
3" exhaust with magnaflow muffler and 3" resonator (exhaust is pretty damn loud)
Apex VAFC
DSM 450s

Good God almighty those are good numbers. Since I'm boost illiterate, how much is .7 bar? Isn't 1 bar like 14 psi correct?

I can't remember exactly what the A/F numbers were but I will post the sheet as soon as it's emailed to me.

Very good for your first time out to the dyno!
I guess I need to get off my *** and pull my D16 out tomorrow so I can work on getting the new motor in there

That's really good! Do you have any idea why you were getting boost creep?

Stan is the man, he helped me install it...and Art provided insight along the way as well. Thanks guys
When I took the car for a spin a little bit ago the boost didnt creep past .5 bar

Congrats dood... how do you like the 50 trim turbo? I was thinking of running that size, but people are telling me to go w/ a 57 trim.

the 50 trim seems fine to me, this is my first time in a boosted honda so I can't really compare it to any other turbo...but the power is there, no doubt about that

Re: Dyno results for my turbo gsr (vtecdoc)
My .02 is the drag manifold is responsible for the boost creep since the wastegate is not centered. I hope i get that much power out of my setup. This month of waiting for parts is going to kill me.

Damn sounds just like my car. I had 268 hp and 185ft/lbs to the wheels. stock internals, afc hack, etc. Basically same setup and mileage on the car.

The A/F was around 12:1 and it started approaching 11.5 towards the end...I'll post the dyno sheet when I get it

Re: Dyno results for my turbo gsr (speedymon)
Hey, when do you guys spool? I want to try the safc hack but I spool to 10psi by 3k and I couldn't dial in the a/f with an smc.
I am dying to know. Thanks.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm....that seems kinda low for 10psi. Just curious bout that. I put dwn 265whp with 180trq with a stock gsr and same kit with only 7psi. hmmmm just curious. I just dont think those numbers are right. should be higher if you ask me. good job though!
