dyno resluts, kinda dissapointed...
00 si w/ revhard stage2, afc hack to tune,
best run was 175whp 132tq... but my boost gauge was only reading 5pounds, so im thinking about getting a manual controler and upping the boost by 2, opinions, suggestions ?
edit: compression test resluts
1=240
2=240
3=220
4=240
suggestions ?

What's a/f look like? I would think u'd be putting out more then 175whp even at 5psi. Got any pics of the dyno graph?

Maybe if your A/F was a little smoother you could have made more power. That **** fluctuates alot. But I don't know if it's actually possible to flatten it out with the hack. I say, buy the manual boost controller and up the boost to 7lbs. you can't do any worse then what you have now. And BTW, what was the hack setup for, 5lbs. or 7lbs.?

How's your engine running? Checked for boost leaks? IMHO, that is horrible... something must be wrong.

i agree, i mean i am still using the stock cat, and may have a tiny exhaust leak, but still... im not sure what to do

do you even know how the hack works and what it does? if you did you'd get a 9-10 psi spring for the waste gate and run 10psi. anything less than that you have WAY too much ign timing.

thats horrible , i made more than that untuned at 7 lbs on my d16y8......but anyway , do a compression test , then check for leaks. then up the boost

That doesn't sound so horrible to me for 5psi. What do those things make stock, like 135 to the wheels... atmospheric pressure is like 15psi...
so you're adding 33% more on top of the pressure you have to work with when n/a... 1/3 of 135 is like 45....135 plus 45 is 180.
Sounds about right. Maybe a little low because its not dialed in, but I wouldn't say horrible.

mos.. pressure dosnt mean ****. its all about the flow. pressure is a resitance to flow. that car should be making at least low 200's
im gona guess the stock exhaust and cat are hurting alot. not to mention the timing is through the roof with the afc hack at that level.

whats your compression like? Either is a shitty tune (hack) or your motor is not in the best of shape (i.e bad ring lands or your leakdown is up there >10%).
edit: I made more power on the greddy kit with stock exhuast 179 whp 140 tq

WTF?
If you're knocking, you need to add fuel.
You should be more like -35% or -40%.

I know psi is just a measurement of airflow restriction in the intake manifold. I wouldn't so far as to say it doesn't mean ****. I still don't think 175hp is horrible. I mean, its at only 5psi. From his posts its obvious there room for improvement by dialing in the fuel.
If 175 whp is horrible, sign my Integra up for some horrible ASAP. Blah.

I agree that this is a bit disappointing. I'd expect to see at least low 200 hp on your setup.
1) Check your compression test on all your pistons
2) Check spark plugs and all of the ignition stuff
3) Check your charge pipes for leaks
4) Might want to double check your AFC # because they might be off. Cross reference it with someone else on here running a B16 on AFC--there are QUITE a few!
5) Try a dyno run without your cat or with straight pipe or new larger exhaust.
Main thing is to make sure that your engine is still in tip top condition before trying to figure out why its not boosting correctly. Once you determing that it is in good shape THEN figure out your boost problem whether it be your turbo wastegate, AFC, etc...
