Default Dyno of 2.0 GSR @ 10psi

note: it's not a dragIII kit(it's actually mostle maxrev stuff), and the boost is at 10 psi

pretty damn smooth, and good numbers for only 10 psi with a CAT. Would've done more, but the MSD GM 3Bar map sensor didn't want to work with hondata. So this was on the stock map sensor.

All I have to say is holy ****. It pulls pretty damn hard. Without the BFG DR's, I don't get anywhere.

I'm going back in a couple of months, with a working GM 3bar MAP sensor, straight pipe, & Edelbrock IM. And up the boost a wee bit.

Note that this is completely daily driven, in a 92 cx. And was tuned conservatively for 91 octane, and Jeff knows I can't afford to blow something up anymore. Haha. I'll post the set up when I get back.

what u mean everything else stock ? It say IB 2litter, so I assume its a 81mm bore to 84mm. So how can u run on stock piston ? Not to bash on you or anything But I seen normal gsr make more power then that. But either way you got turbo so to you.

it means everything other than the block is stock.
RS Sleeves, JE 9:1 pistons 84.5, Eagle Rods, ARP Rod Bolts, and ARP head studs.

It's ok I know you're not bashing. But about the power levels...

seems kinda low for a 2.0 gsr at 10psi...
it has a cat. you have no idea how much power they can steal.

This wasn't tuned for 'stupid' horsepower. This was tuned for drivability to 91 octane.

I assure you, with the a tiny tiny bit more boost, no cat, new IM... it will make well into the 300's.

And until I can afford a beater or "extra car"... the boost will remain stupidly low.

not a clue. it was getting voltage, after about an hour... the only thing we figured out, was that it didn't work.

There's gotta be more power there.

I'm kinda disappointed in IB for using MPH on the horizontal axis of the graph. they should know better.

I once thought every GM 3 bar map would work on hondata till I tried a 3 bar map from a dfi kit on hondata system. It didn't work at all. Then I got one from a speedpro kit and that didnt work either. After trying a few 3 bar maps, I just gave up and ask hondata to ship one to me.

I will have to double check with my notes at the shop but I think you need to find 749 or 748 on the back of the map sensor.

The only way to find out is to try it.

edit- why do you think there is a problem with having mph on the x-axis?

I just think it would be more useful to have Engine RPM's there.
