DSM turbo -> f22a1 (searched)
dsm 1g eclipse turbo/manifold on my f22a1 (96 prelude) - i've searched alot-
questions i have:
what parts exactly would i need to strip off a 1g eclipse/talon at a junkyard, besides turbo and manifold, (intercooler?,what other parts are usable and what would i need to buy?
how much psi is safe on a stock f22a1 with a dsm turbo ?
how much whp has this been known to make?
the pre-95 eclipses had a better engine/ turbo right? exactly what years manifolds bolt up (with drilling) to the f22?
exactly what all is involved with rigging the manifold to the f22a1? just drilling new holes in the manifold and a new gasket?
are new oem eclipse turbo manifolds pretty cheap?
would i need fuel managment? what about dsm injectors?
i know - its alot of questions. going to the junkyard soon for other crap and im gona start lookin for a junkyard turbo parts.
anyone know of a website or have pictures maybe that breaks down this whole "operation" in detail?

can't help you with too much, but i can tell you that both 1g and 2g dsms have the same exhaust port and bolt pattern. the 2g manifolds tend to crack less, but the 1g's come with bigger turbos (14b instead of t25).
