If I were to buy a bone stock 1997-1998 eclipse gst and put a boost gauge on it, what would it read? In other words, whats the stock boost level? I've heard 9.8psi...12psi.....13.5psi.....anyone know?

When I had my 96' it read ~15psi, but at times would peak up to 19psi, for a very short period of time (on stock turbo).

I drive a 94 civic ex with a greddy kit, ic, etc. I was just wondering how much boost those ran. So far I've heard they peak at 11-12 and hold at about 10. Hahn racecraft says around 12-13 stock. I was just trying to sort things out.

When my DSM was stock i boosted around 10-12psi. Once i got a 3" turbo -> tip exhaust (RS*R) a real intake and BOV i boost around 18psi but by redline its more like 12-14psi because the stupid stock turbo is too small. (t25 = t-2-small) You can pretty much unplug the wastegate on a 2g eclipse and NEVER blow it up.

t25 above 12-15 pounds = hotter than all get out

I know people who have unplugged the wastegate on a 2g and seen 16-17 pound numbers, with an 18 or 19 peak

I know it's not more than 12. I believe it's around 10. Hell the stock 2g BOV leaks around 12, heh. I am almost certain it's 10, give or take a very small amount, but it should almost always at least ROUND to 10
