Driving GSR w/o JRSC working??
I believe my blower needs to be rebuilt. As soon as I'm about to reach boost, the belt slips off. There is play on the nose pulley so I'm assuming its a shaft/bearing issue.
I'm rebuilding the blower this winter. In the mean time, I'm still driving the car occassionally w/o the blower working.
I never full-throttle and drive as light as possible. How can I make it so that more air can get into the motor w/ the blower still attached? And, is driving the car the way it is, (without the blower working) safe?
I only have this car and may have to go on a road trip this weekend (3 hour drive).
I apologize for the [dumb] quetsions, i'm still learning.

Take the belt that runs from the alternator to the blower off, and zip tie the bypass valve open. It won't be optimal, but it'll drive fine, and won't do any damage. Your motor will be breathing through a somewhat small opening and won't make a ton of power (less than stock), but it'll still drive.
