Its suppose to be off a GSR Drag kit which would mean a .63 exhaust housing. All I need is the thread to the BIGG discussion that was on this topic kind of recently. I am trying to find out the specs on the turbo, Thanks

Look inside the turbine housing, the A/R will be marked inside. Should say .63

Take off the turbine housing and measure the major and exducer diameters of the wheel. Then reference http://www.turboneticsinc.com/catalog/twheel.html to find out which trim the wheel & housing are. For a .63 stage 3 the exducer should be 2.229"

Then take off the compressor housing, and measure the major and inducer diameters of the wheel. Reference http://www.turboneticsinc.com/catalog/comp_wheels.html to figure out what trim it is. For a 54trim t04e the inducer should be 2.170"

On the inside of the turbine housing of my turbo it says 48. Does that mean with my drag kit I got a t3/t04b?? I own an LS so I think I should have gotten a t3/t04e with the kit. Also if I take my turbo housings off will I have to get it rebalanced? Thanx

It means you have a .48 exhaust housing. It doesn't determine what sort of compressor you have.

You do not have to rebalance anything if you just remove the housings, only if you remove the turbine/compressor wheels.
