Drag gen 3 fuel pump not working

Drag gen 3 fuel pump not working
does anybody have problem with their drag gen 3 in-line fuel pump not working? i dont hear it at all and i've tried to connect it straight to battery.. still no sound.. it does get kinda hot for some reason.. is there somethign wrong with the pump? defective possibly?

One wire goes connected to the main relay and the other is a ground. Maybe it's not connected right. That pump is quite loud and you should be able to hear it.

make sure you complete the circuit when testing the pump on the battery ...Ground the negative terminal on the battery too.
When testing in car make sure you grounded pump to shiny metal and not paint... normally you have to use a little sandpaper on your paint to expose metal.

i grounded it straight to the battery and powered straight from the battery just to test it, but it doesn't do anything...

Did you try running the pump without gas in the lines? You can damage them if you run them dry for any amount of time.
