Default Drag 3 Manifold and Turbo (? gasket?)

isn't it weird that drag doesn't give you a gasket for the connection between the manifold and turbo??....I heard machined parts don't need a gasket. I see a very small hair line separation between the two, but no noticable boost leaks.

What are you guys doing to cover up the crack?

importparts told me it would be fine because the carbon deposits will cover the cracks.

When I saw that with mine I was like WTF but I've had mine on for about 3 weeks now and all is good no boost leaks so I wouldn't worry about it.

No gasket is required since both the manifold and turbine housing are machined true. No gasket=no possibility of blowing out the gasket... also since the manifold and turbine housing expand under heat the mating surfaces are pretty snug...

Thanks, I thought that was the case but i can see right through my manifold and see light on the other side, it very small and prolly thinner than hair...well so far so good. Thanks

i didnt run a gasket at first but got a few areas with carbon stains so i knew there was a little leaking. a new oem gasket is best and will not blow out.
