Downpipe is hitting shift linkage?
I have this setup on a 98 Integra and the DP is hitting the shift linkage. It is not a huge problem since its the stabilizer and not the actual shifter itself. Just wondering if anyone has run into this and what they did to resolve it?

Re: Downpipe is hitting shift linkage?
Ok, just want to make sure before I fab up a test pipe and mount the I/C
Also is gonna be a streatch to get it to line up to the exhaust line-to-line |
Re: Downpipe is hitting shift linkage?
i had this problem with afi also.
i orgianlly bought a afi ram horn style mani from a friend. but i didnt have a downpipe. so i had afi make me one with a v band connection to the hotside.i had a 5 bolt hotside with a plate/v band converstion thing on it from my old set up..... this lines up horrible..not afi's fault considering there vbanded downpipe was made to work in conjuction with a tial vband hot side.. so i took my coversion vband plate thing off and had a v band welded directaly to the hotside wich helped fitment alot. but it was still hit my linkage.... the only thing i could do was chop up my brand new 350$$ downpipe...FCUK so i had to make a cut right at the bend for the oil pan and reweld it.... it was so close too.. well your going to need a test pip made itake it..this will solve your "line up" issues with your exhaust |
