can more people vouch for this that it comes built in already?

Most of the GT-Series have a oil restrictor built in, with my experience the implemented restrictor in the cartridge still have the potential to provide too much oil.

Run a .035" restrictor with a -3 AN line, it's cheap insurance and well worth it.

I have gone through 2 GT35R's in about 1000 miles on my civic using the supposed built in restrictor. I ordered another restrictor from ATP Turbo and have been going strong for about 1500 miles on the 3rd GT35R. Not to say I am right or wrong but that is my personal experience.

that doesnt look like much of a restrictor...

my ball bearing precision sc34 came with a much much smaller restrictor fitting on it.

the turbo is a precision t4 bb 6076 which may be y it has a bigger restrictor. i also use a restrictor fitting to the feed line so i have no issues. i've been running the turbo for 1 1/2 years no issues yet and it's my dd. heres a pic of the restrictor i use on the feed for the turbo. came from precision with the turbo.

According to Garrett some engines have much less oil flow from the oil pressure port compared to typical honda motors. Those applications don't need another restrictor, but most honda applications will.

The turbos require a restrictor.
