will they raise my insurance if i get a say a drag 3 turbo? or as long as they dont' kno about it? so far as emissions/inspection goes...does a drag 3 pass clean?

It will pass smog, not not visual. And as long as the insurance doesnt know it wont go up..

Smog is when they test the emmisions, and visual is when you use your eyes to inspect the engine bay. Visual is the act of vison..

Yes, your insurance will go up when you tell them.

it will go up if you tell them, but look at it from the view point of theft, do you want it covered should your car get jacked? I know I sure would!

They probably will since they have special rates for modified vehicles, ask your insurance agent.

i asked my insurance(AAA) when i went turbo and the guy was way cool he said if i told them i put a turbo on my car they would drop me like a hot rock, he also said that if i took pictures of the car and kept all my recipts that everything would be covered if the car got jacked or wrecked etc...
