Does anyone know who makes this wastegtate?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...70870

It says "Stone Mountain Racing," but I've never heard of them. It appears to be a tial knockoff, but I wonder how the quality is. Anyone?

Reason I'm asking is because I bought one, and am wondering if anyone has any experience with them?

Thanks...

first, you might wanna do research like this BEFORE you buy the product. second, i've heard taht stone mountain turbos are not very good quality, but I can't speak for the wastegate. I am just assuming the quality is nearly the same.

Well, it looks like a decent wastegate, which is why I bid on it. That, and virtually every one which he puts up gets sold. I got mine for $132, which isn't a bad price really. I am just wondering how much difference there is between this and a Tial....

Do not buy that product! I bought one and the o-ring did not fit into the bottom of the wastegate. Resulting in my wastegate being open all the time and never allowing boost! Spend the money and buy a Tial. It only took me 3 wastegates to figure that out!

Are you referring to the metal o-ring which sits at the bottom, between the flange and the orifice?

It seems as if the one I have seals fine...
