Default Does anybody here have a JR supercharger on a non-vtec engine?

From searches I know that turbos, particularly the Drag, are much more popular here. But I don't intend to race my car. I am merely looking for better performance from my street driven non-vtec Integra. If anyone has a JR supercharger, or has had one in this type of application, can you please share your experience with it? I have also heard that you can use a stock CRV crank pulley to get 8 psi of boost from the JR which seems like plenty of power for my application.

Thanks for your help,
Phil

I use to have a 89 si nonvtec 1.6 which had a JRSC on it. If you don't already have the charger on, I would just go ahead and get the 8 psi pulley from jackson instead of the CRV pulley. I already had my supercharger installed before I decided to up the boost so I used a 92-95 civic pulley and it ran right around 8 to 9 psi. Only problem I encountered with the crank pulley swap was you never really know your true timing. But on a positive note, the car ran a 13.68 on small slicks and the seats out in the 1/4.
